WOULD YOU STILL MARRY HIM? Part 1

If God presents him certified bald, or almost bald, would it matter? Truth be told I loved princess D and her son Prince William. Wouldn’t you say he’s a fine man? God blessed lady Catherine who stole your heart. Come on now ladies, don’t be judging me, because we can all agree that the man is fine lol. Seriously now, am I the only one who thinks he’s adorable and cute? I bet lady Catherine didn’t know he would go bald that quickly. However, would she change her mind… Absolutely not!

The Lord brought something to my attention while I was in my ‘waiting season’. He said to meA lot more of my daughters would be married, but they have a preconceived notion, and they’ve put me in a box.” In our language, at times, “we can be too stuck up and picky.” He said to me that some of us ladies tend to look on the man from the outside and never stop to look or consider his heart. I must say, I’m guilty as charged.

Some time ago,  I got some bad news about one of my girlfriends who married a remarkable and handsome man. He ended up cheating on her and then turned and walked away from their marriage. Right away I prayed in my heart and asked the Lord to choose my spouse for me. “For the LORD sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the LORD looks on the heart” (1 Samuel 16:7).

Don’t think I’m any different from you, because I’m not. I like nice things and of course we want the cute guy. However,  it’s always important to know that’s looks aren’t everything. When Samuel went to look for David to anoint him as King over Israel, he would have never chosen David because  of his looks. Remember looks are deceiving and beauty is vain.

My Boaz finally came when I let go of my own will and came down off my high horse. “Sister’s please don’t think I’m saying that you should let your guard down, reverse your standards, or marry an ugly Boaz. “All I’m saying is allow God to choose for you a fine romantic guy.” Yes, I said it. God is the author of love and He writes the best love stories.

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”[Proverbs 3:5-6]

🌺WORTH THE WAIT🌺

THE WAITING STRUGGLE

Two years ago, when I attended my sister-in-law’s Melissa’s wedding; in Alabama, I had the opportunity to meet Rhonda Jewel Mckenzie. She was of Melissa’s bridesmaid. Two years later, Melissa returned the same honor as her bridesmaid. As in the case for me, I waited eight long years after I accompanied my two besties Mouya and Ava down aisle as their bridesmaid before I got married. (It felt like foooooooreeeeeeever!)

I was just looking at how beautiful Rhonda appeared in her dress and how she seems so content with her new husband today. Rhonda, Melissa and myself all tied the knot after thirty. It wasn’t easy to arrive at because of doubts, insecurities and the biggest killer of all things beautiful in God’s own time; the big P-PATIENCE.

Melissa’s wedding~

Often, we look at others and compare ourselves, which is not helpful. We get discouraged, jealous, and envious of others blessings sometimes,  not knowing that they had to pay a price for their blessings. I encourage you to wait on God’s timing for your life. God will give you more than the blessings you deserve, just remain faithful. What God has for you, is for *you*. Cry if you must, but don’t doubt that God can provide all your needs according to His riches and Glory.

There are  plenty of scriptures I could apply, but I’ll use only this one. “For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.” (Psalms 84:11). The word ‘uprightly’ can also mean: appropriately, conscientiously, decently, fairly, honestly, honorably, justly, circumspectly , properly, respectably, righteously, trustworthily, truthfully and faithfully.

Dear ones, this was the scripture that God presented before me, amongst others, during my ‘waiting season.’ I had to do a deliberate routine check and evaluate some things. After a while, I personalized the word ‘uprightly’ into the word ‘love’. Nothing good will the Lord God without from them that love Him.

Yes, I cried into my tea and my pillow sometimes because the wait was a bit hard. Like the time when I finished making my spaghetti noodles and was ready to open my tomato sauce to no avail. 45mins later, I cried out to God, and I said, “Lord I can’t open this jar. I’ve  tried every which-way but Lord if I had a husband I could ask him.” I put the sauce jar down and walked away. Minutes later God told me to try again, and at one turn it clicked-clicked and it opened.  Of course, He reminded me in the same breath that He was first, that, “My Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.” (Isaiah 54:5)

Melissa@my-wedding~
My, beloved, I have some of the same struggles like you,  so did Rhonda and Melisa and many others. I want to encourage you to love and enjoy this ‘waiting season’ because it won’t last forever. For those of you, who are believing God for a husband, don’t lose hope. For now, let God be your ‘covering’, let him be your husband maker until He presents your husband ordained.

I fell in love with God and learned how to love him with all my heart, mind, soul, and body. He pursued me and I pursued hard after the things pertaining to His Kingdom. My sweet sisters in waiting, when you seek him first, “The LORD will perfect that which concerneth you: thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands. (Psalms 138:8) I guarantee you this promise will follow you.

God bless you.
I’m always praying for you my loves

God’s Got You!

GOD’S GOT YOU!

Whether you’re up or down
Happy or Sad
Rich or Poor
Above the gravity or below the firmament
Weak or Strong
Sorrowful or Joyful
Broken or Whole
Accepted or Rejected
In Chains or Free
Whether all the above is in place or out of place in your life, please know that God’s got you. There is absolutely nothing that’s too hard for God, my friends. I’ve seen Him work the miraculous in my life and the lives of others. Trust me, He can work out anything for you too.

No matter the difficulties you face today, the words of Jesus are stronger than all the troubles in the world. Yes, you can and you will overcome any kind of trouble or difficulty because Jesus said, ‘With God all things are possible’ (Matthew 19:26). It is the power of God that makes what seems impossible with men possible with God.

I remember needing a miracle when I was thirteen. My mother had absolutely no money in her name to afford my passage to school. But I remember going to the Lord in prayer and fasting; through faith, believing God for the impossible.

I only prayed and fasted for approximately five or six hours before I heard the spirit of the Lord ordering my steps to receive what I had prayed for. God provided the money within hours of me asking. He can make a way out of no way. I’ve proven that to be true many a times.

Rest in the peace of your salvation.

🌺Jesus Kept & Perserved Me🌺

🌺🙌🏿26 years ago on this day the Lord Jesus filled me with the gift of his Holy Spirit at an old fashion Pentecostal Alter. I’m greatly blessed to be a participant of the Acts 2:38 experience. It’s indeed  one of the most wonderful  life changing experience I’ve ever encountered. Jesus is the best thing that has ever happened to me.  My heart is rejoicing in the God of my salvation.

IMG_6623 I join in with this song writer~

🎶Roll back the curtain of memory now and then,
Show me where you brought me from and
Where i could have been,
Just remember I’m a human and human’s forget,
So remind me, remind me dear Lord.

Nothing good have I done,
To deserve God’s own Son.
I’m not worthy of the scars
In His hands.
Yet he chose the road to Calvary,
To die in my stead.
Why He loved me i can’t understand.🎶

Thank you Jesus for pursuing my me.  Thank Jesus you for coming to visit me in my little house on the hill.

He alone has keep my life and preserved it. Philippians 4:19
But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Indeed He has.
I love you my sweet Lord!

Young or Old, God is able to keep, preserve  and totally satisfy you.

Psalms 34:8
O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.

I love you, and I’m always praying for you.

🌺GOD LOVES HIS BRIDE🌺

img_0272

I love, love receiving love from my hubby.💛
My lovely roses from the city. 🌆 Here’s the story. So, I heard a quiet knock on the door🚪and I was a bit startled because I wasn’t expecting anyone.💁🏽I didn’t think it was my husband because he’s usually gets home a bit later. Anyhow, I tippy toe towards the door and ask who it was? Truly, I was expecting my neighbor or someone else to answer but it was only my sweet prince.💁‍♂️ He stood there waiting patiently with this beautiful bouquet of flowers.💐 They are just ordinary day roses really. I thought of God while I trimmed them and placed them in the vase.🌹

The scripture said that husband should love their wives like Christ loves his church. And everyday I experience God’s love emanating from my husband. We are his bride, the church. It’s amazing how in each and everyday, He shows us how much He loves us in all different ways. Truly it pays to wait on God for whatever you need from him. He loves and cares for us and He knows what we have need of. Wait on his timing.⏰His timing concerning every detail of your life is always the perfect timing.⏱⏰

🌺HOW AVAILABLE ARE YOU?🌺

🍃I heard a prophetic word at our New Years Eve Service and it still rings in my ears. The Lord said that “He was going to and fro walking in the earth, looking for someone who’s available; to be a vessel He can use. I’m looking for someone who’s available to be my hands and feet.” I cried when I heard it with bitter tears. I had to do a soul search. I asked myself the question.. Am I really available?

The funny thing is most of us have already made our plans for next week, next month, and next year to do what we want. We don’t take into consideration what is on God’s checklist for our life. We need to dedicate our time to Him and make sure we are available. Here I am Lord, AVAILABLE! I am available!  I give myself away to your service, Mighty King whom my soul loveth! Are you AVAILABLE? Can He use you to reach. If He should ask to use your feet today to go somewhere out of the ordinary, would you be available to just go? He’s searching.
🍃🍃I hope this song speak to you🍃🍃

🌺You gave me my hands, to reach out to man , To show him Your love and Your perfect plan, You gave me my ears, I can hear your voice so clear. I can hear the cries of sinners, but can I wipe away their tears.

🌺You gave my voice, to speak Your words
To sing all Your praises, to those who never heard. But with my eyes I see a need for more availablity. I see hearts that have been broken, so many people to be free.

Chorus:
Lord, I’m available to you, my will I give to you
I ‘ll do what you say do, use me Lord.
To show someone the way and enable me to say. My storage is empty and I am available to you.

🌺Now I’m giving back to you, all the tools you gave to me.
My hands, my ears, my voice, my eyes, so You can use them as You please. I have emptied out my cup, so that You can fill it up.
Now I’m free, I just want to be more available to You.

God bless you beloved,
Your sister in Christ💕

🌺IN THE BEGINNING🌺

img_4411
God approves of all that he created. He said, ‘It is good’. Many people feel worthless, insecure and of no value. But God did not create rubbish. God created you. He loves you and approves of you. He may not approve of everything you do, but he loves you unconditionally, wholeheartedly and continually.

The pinnacle of his creation was human beings. You are made in the image of God (Gen. v.27). If we want to know what God is like, it is men and women together (‘male and female’, Gen.v.27b) who reflect his image.
Every human being is created in his image and should be treated with dignity, respect and love. Your ability to communicate with God is a reflection of the fact that you are made in his image.
Psalms 139:14🍃 Just a reminder Loviles💕
I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.

🌺WRITE THE VISION🌺

img_0213

Everything was created for a purpose. When people invent things, they invent them with a purpose. Before any inventor creates a product they must first have a VISION, right? Everything started with a vision to fulfill a purpose. I want you to realize that God created YOU for a purpose. If things are created to serve a purpose, how much more you? God actually said in (Jeremiah 29:11) “I KNOW THE PLANS AND PURPOSE I have for you, declares the Lord; plans to prospers you, not to arm you but to give you a future and a hope.”

Dear ones, God has a plan for your life. You weren’t accidentally conceived, God had a purpose. He allowed you to be born to fulfill an assignment. So we have no time to waste. You don’t have another year to waste and you don’t want to keep repeating what you did last year. You should always desire to come up higher. Go ahead a set some life-goals instead of setting New Years goals. But first you need to start with your imagination, that’s where everything begins. Everything begins with your ability to dream, to think, and imagine.

Habakkuk 2:2 🍃”And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.” Go ahead and write down your dreams, your goals, and your ideas; and keep it before your eyes until you can actually see and touch it. Seek and put God first and place your dreams and visions in his hands and they will not go unfulfilled. Proverbs 16:1🍃
“People make plans in their minds, but only the Lord make them come true.”Sleep well lovelies.💕

🌺FIRST THING FIRST🌺

img_0123

Seek Him first.🙏🏽Always let him set the precedent for the new year and for your future. He always has a plan and all you need to do is to TRUST Him to guide and lead you. Don’t panic, don’t give in, and don’t succumb to fear. I find that I never worry about the rest of the year once I place all my plans in his hands from the very beginning. SEEK and TRUST and “DEPEND ON THE LORD IN WHATEVER YOU DO, AND YOUR PLAN WILL SUCCEED.”(Proverb 16v3) Sleep well my lovelies💕

🌺My Petition Granted🙌🏿

❤️Can I say how much I love this guy.

img_9877

Sometimes I look back on memory photos of us and begin to marvel at God’s love towards someone like me. This person standing next to me is my very own husband of two years. I’m reminded of Esther’s petition: Esther 5:6 >>

🌺And the king said unto Esther at the banquet of wine, What is thy petition? and it shall be granted thee: and what is thy request? even to the half of the kingdom it shall be performed.🌺

King Xerxes was just a mere man, and a man of great wealth. There he was offering this young woman, whom he loved half his kingdom. I think of this scripture in parallel to Philippians 4:6 >>

🌺Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.🌺

I’m saying all of this to remind someone today that God wants to give you more than half his Kingdom. He wants to give you life and life more abundantly!

Beloved, I love to go back to God’s words and remind myself of the promises that were made to me on a daily basis. Let me remind you of the precedent of  John 10:10

“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.”

Whatever you’ve prayed for, whatever you’ve asked God for: wait on it. Be patient. I prayed, and made supplications before God for thirteen years for this guy. He only just arrived in my life two years ago. Keep faith alive for God hears and answers your PRAYERS.🌺💕

2 Peter 1:11 >>
🌺For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.🌺

I love you dearly,

Your sister in Christ Jesus💕
